Tonbridge School is an ideal venue where students can stay on a residential basis and also enjoy a range of recreational activities, as well as excellent facilities during their stay. Students can therefore study hard during the day before relaxing in the evenings by using some of the first rate facilities. In the evenings there will be allocated study time in order to provide an opportunity to consolidate the knowledge gained during the day in the classroom.
Tonbridge School courses attract students from Tonbridge itself, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Pembury, Goudhurst, Crowborough and further afield such as from Bromley, Canterbury, Reigate, Dorking and Eastbourne as well from abroad with international students coming from France, Monaco, Italy, Spain, Portugal, China and the Netherlands.
Tonbridge School was founded in 1553 in the reign of Edward V1. It is set in beautiful grounds and is an ideal environment for study. It offers a welcoming atmosphere to students and staff alike. Located in West Kent, between Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells, the school is ideally located on Tonbridge High Street and is only ten minutes' drive from the M25. It is only fifteen minutes' walk from Tonbridge Railway Station, which enjoys a frequent service to London Charing Cross and London Bridge. East Anglia is only a two hour journey away and the school is easily accessible from the continent via the channel ports and tunnel.
Non-Residential Students are welcome to have a hot meal, for a small extra charge should the Easter revision courses be running on a residential basis.
